I have spent the last couple of days working on this oil Painting depicting a small mountain stream that runs off Windy Peak above Dubois, Wyoming feeding into Little Warm Springs Creek. It is a pleasant little stream falling quite steeply off the mountainside through a very narrow little canyon covered in evergreens and Aspen. I will let it dry a few days befor finishing the whites depicting the waters movement.

It seems like a wonderful place in the lap of Mother Nature!
The water falling off the rocks looks very beautiful even if you say you are yet to finish it!I am sure its going to be a wonderful painting, Gary.In fact,it already is.

What an exquisitely rich piece, both in color and composition, Gary. I love this one and can't wait to see it finished. Sigh...cool, mountain streams...

This seems like a breakaway from your usual style, Gary! The water is there, but there is a strong abstract feeling too!A lot of movement, very lively!

Il doit être doux et paisible de se reposer dans ce petit lieu de paradis. Très belle réalisation.

I love the composition and the textures. I think I can hear the sound of the water as it falls unto the rocks....
