Last night was the annual Petroleum Club of Casper show which featured a Quickdraw event where each artist participating has one hour to complete a painting which is then auctioned off. The artist receives 50% of the proceeds.
Yep. Thats me working on my piece.

One hour! Now that is impressive. Great color combination. Is that from a photo or memory? Judging from your recent photos, looks like a beautiful Spring up your way. All the best, Gary.

I think the quickdraw is such a cool idea. I don't know if I would ever be able to finish something that fast. But I think it would be fun, maybe I'll challenge myself with that. Your painting is beautiful Gary, that's too bad about the slow sales.

You look so at ease! Love the painting! So sorry to hear that sales were not as hoped. Yes indeed; this economy is scary for sure.

Whoa! a one hour Quickdraw... now that sounds exciting! I'm going to have to practice and come up to Wyoming and challenge you someday, seeing that you look the toughest to beat. They'll be a new Brush4Hire in town.

I am so impressed with what you did in a one hour time frame. Is that a watercolour?
Nice photo of the artist at work.

Ooooh! I like this one! Did you get a pic of the finished piece? I'll browse through the blog to find it.
