Gary, it is very good painting! Can you tell me, what kind of gouache you are using?

Wow... Okay.. I'm at a loss for words and that's a good sign for you. So, "wow" again.

Wow. Thank you everybody.
Tatiana-I am using winsor Newton transparent watercolors[for the most part] but I mix them with Permanent White Gouache. I get the large tubes made by Pebeo and can only find them at Cheap Joe's. I handle the watercolors then like one would do an oil. I even use a poallette knife for mixing. The secret is how much and when to use water. Very frustrating for first time users but as I tell my students I teach that befor they decide it is for or not for them-Do 100 paintings. I use both 300# Hot press Arches or # 1 Illustration Board that I can only find through Dick Blick. It comes in 30"x40" size and can be cut to what ever with a utility knife.
