SOLDI have been burning the midnight oil to complete this painting which is a commission from a similar painting that I had won as the purchase award at the 2-Shot Show last December that I had posted earlier. I have to deliver this painting in Laramie, Wyoming this coming wekend.
It is a 24"x30" Oil Painting

Just beautiful Gary, very serene
Well I hope it works out for my collector.
Thanks
These paintings are stunning and your blog with the photos and descriptions are wonderful! Thanks for coming by my blog and your kind comments.
Your patron will be very pleased! This is lovely! Your gallery seems nice too...Are those some Remington statues I see in the photos? Best wishes for a wonderful season! And thank you for visiting my blog.
Thanks all.
No. Deb. Most of the bronzes are by Bud Boller who is uncanny with his bronze work. Please check in at www.silversagegallery.com to check Bud out plus some other pretty fantastic art by some of the artisans in this area.
Well, I made it back from my worlwind trip down to Saratoga, Wyoming where I traded out art work at the Blackhawk Gallery on to Laramie[by way of crossing the snowy range from the Wyoming-Colorado border.][Scenic route} On to Laramie where I delivered this painting to a happy collector, on to Denver and finally back up I-25 to Casper through a horrific snowstorm[this is Wyoming]and on home. Good trip.
I don't doubt they were very pleased with this painting. Wonderful works, and thanks for your kind comments on my blog.
All the best
Wonderful painting Gary, but where's the snow??? Glad to hear you got a bit of Denver sunshine before heading back to 3 seasons of winter. Loved your weather comments, thanks!
As I write this it is pouring down snow. 28 degrees and about 6-8 inches.
Wonderful painting Gary, I would be very happy with it too! The light is just fantastic. Well if your still having snow I will stop moaning about the English rain;o)
