Was at SKB workshops- '06 & '08- and in your gallery both times. Enjoy your blog- wish I had more time to spend just enjoying other artists blogs! I love the Tetons- last year as I drove thru all I could think is- I'm literally seeing God's country- I could feel the Lord there more than I've ever felt him anywhere! The grandeur just says "God is here!" Brought tears to my eyes. I envy folks who live in the western US. Love your work- it brings a bit of the west here. My first comment is - wow - Wyoming is breathtaking - went through there (Yellowstone area) on my honeymoon (loooooong time ago!) - thanks for the beautiful photos. My second comment is - great painting - especially love the skies you are doing, amazing! Also have a question - there was a Les LeFevre in the Cincinnati, OH area a few years ago, had a studio in Pendleton in Rising Sun - could this be one and the same? He painted in a western theme??? If so, small world!
I'll be back to check your blog often!debwardarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05225105239355671724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300271970450484363.post-75453403011963460932009-06-01T15:49:16.382-06:002009-06-01T15:49:16.382-06:00all those paintings ... they are not just beautifu...all those paintings ... they are not just beautiful and very well done. they are a dream !
thanks for this view .Caio Fernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11592097138751108428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300271970450484363.post-41901738863979238122009-06-01T15:06:56.493-06:002009-06-01T15:06:56.493-06:00Oh, my gosh, Gary! this is a beautiful painting--...Oh, my gosh, Gary! this is a beautiful painting--a lovely moment in time.Elizabeth Seaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08733386945501359383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300271970450484363.post-60075809875447571582009-06-01T11:55:49.701-06:002009-06-01T11:55:49.701-06:00Beautiful painting Gary, it looks so real and peac...Beautiful painting Gary, it looks so real and peacefulartbykarieannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316253118493344384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300271970450484363.post-2920254563358241122009-06-01T07:12:12.374-06:002009-06-01T07:12:12.374-06:00Gary, thank you for visiting my blog. Your mule d...Gary, thank you for visiting my blog. Your mule deer painting is fantastic! I feel cold just looking into it. And I noticed a few posts below that you have a friend Les LeFevre. Our neighborhood, Broadlands, in VA has a cemetery with several LeFevres buried in it. We even have a street named LeFevre. They are probably distant relatives to your friend, and they were one of the families who originally settled here in Northern VA around the time of the civil war.Debra Keircehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391213568280558242noreply@blogger.com
