You've really been on a roll for quite awhile now Gary- this painting has nice depth!
I'm getting into plein air, and really have a problem keeping my values different. For this painting, did you push the darks deeper than what you saw, and the color too?
Boy it's tough out there!

I maybe did a little Judy. I wanted it fairly dark as the sun was at the extreme left. I tried bathing the trees and left hand foliage in light but it looked too hokey so I rubbed it out and that left a little bit of a ;misty look. Hope that reads that way. I tried keeping the water really white as if light struck and the salmon color I think was a little better than straight yellow as I also tried that and it also seemed a little hokey.

Thanks Gary- every little bit of info helps; there sure are a lot of adjustments to make out there!

It astounds me what a prolific painter you are - and you really have a way with water!
