FALL FIREWEED
12"x20" Oil Painting
Fireweed is such a beautiful Mountain Wildflower blooming with pink to crimson flowers on beautiful green stalks and leaves.  the first plant to grow following a wildfire.  By fall the yellow orange to crimson burnt sienna plant seems to be on fire when a low sun hits meadows full of the plant adding a wonderful fire look of color to the mountain  world.
