ABOVE ENCAMPMENT
8"x16" Oil painting
This is another painting from the Saratoga, Wyoming area.  It depicts the scenery as one climbs the Sierra Madre Mountains west out of Encampment, Wyoming towards the continental divide.

Love the way you have managed to capture the huge open space of this area, and like the way the clouds draw your eye up and into the painting.

Gorgeous distance in this piece, Gary. Is this a rather arid area? As always, a beautiful landscape!

Your paintings are always so beautiful! I've never been to Wyoming...it looks a lot like Eastern Oregon from your painting. Gorgeous!
