TRAIL LAKE
8"x18 1/4" Oil Painting on masonite
This is a painting I have dug out and reworked a little bit-done several years ago plein aire when I was invited out to paint with a number of artists from the Susan K Black workshops. The group was led by John Seery Lester.

This is beautiful! Love the sheen on the water, the yellow against the purple-y blues.... a winner!

Very peaceful. I love the beautiful blues of the water. It looks like a great place to have a swim or do some fishing!

Gorgeous swaths of color, Gary. There is a dusk-y feel to this one and I like that!

I was with you when you painted this plein air and I was astounded at how fast you grasped the scene and got it down on canvas. It seems it was 30 minutes or less. I loved it then and still do, you didn't mess it up.
