Torrey Creek with thawing ice. Of course it won't last.
The weather across the country has seemed to have taken a break from the nasty stuff we have been experiencing the past several months. We here in the high country have also had good weather and I have taken advantage of that in the past week by taking off several afternoons and exploring the countryside.
I have posted those several outdoor adventures on my OUTDOOR ADVENTURES blog and invite you to check them out.

One of my favorite things to do is to explore the countryside! Still a tad too cold for me outside though. I hear we're in line for a bit of a warm up...We're hitting the low 40's during the day.

Great shot, Gary. I love to study the look of the melting ice.

Can I come and live with you Gary? ;-)
It must be great to see all that beautiful scenery every day and live with all that nature :-)

Ya, wouldn't it be nice? Saw on the news the other night the danger of that spring thaw flooding in running to the mid US...won't be a fun springtime for some.
