I have continued adding to my painting working today on the trees to the left and adding the deer onto the grass islands.

Love the blending of the blues and greens....you've given such a peaceful and restful feeling to this canvas.

Thanks for allowing us to follow your process.

I have missed a few of your recent works. I have had a forced break.
Back now and hope to catch up on all your work.

Wonderful start to this piece. Once again into those lovely blues.

You're making the scene come alive for me. It makes me want to travel again but today I get to paint. :)

How I miss Wyoming!
Mr. Keimig, you won't remember me, but I met you about 25 years ago during one of my father's trips where he brought the family along. I remember meeting you and how I wanted a piece of your art and all I could afford was a small postcard of a mama 'cat and two kittens. But you generously signed it for me. It has been mounted and framed and I have kept it all these years.
I have had several trips to WY through the years, the last of which was in 2004 to bring my father to Dubois (and the Black Bear Inn) to say farewell to his friends there before he passed.
I am glad to have found your blog. The paintings bring back such a yearning for the land which holds such a deep place in my heart.
