I continued working on this 24"x36" Oil Painting of the Grand Tetons. I have begun detail work and am presently not very excited about where it is going. The cottonwoods are way too scattered out so after I took this pix I began changing a number of things. Tomorrow I will post the changes.

This painting looks like a photo. It is absolutely beautiful..the color of the mountains in the distance, is breathtaking!

While you fiddle with details of the composition, I would suggest that the colors are spot on. I love the bright blues of the mountains, and the very subtle orange highlights - just enough to let us know it's autumn.
