I spent all day yesterday working out detail on my Colorado Columbines. Another day such as this and I should have it pretty well finished. 16"x20" Oil Painting

This is looking great! I really like your composition. The simple background thrusts the viewer directly to your subject. Our columbine bloomed a long time ago. Its so nice to see them surface here. I love them too...

Gary, beautiful work on the foliage- the leaves are catching just enough light!The delicate and elegant flowers will really pop against the background. Great job!

Oh Gary, this is just lovely. I love the whites, cool blues, warm grays and the green with the dark background. just perfect! It looks finished but I can't wait to see what you do with it.
