THE PEAKS ABOVE DOUBLE CABINS
Befor today I would have said summer has arrived in the high country but we have not gotten out of the 50's all day and snow has been falling in places in Yellowstone and the high mountains. With that in mind I have posted a new OUTDOOR ADVENTURE with summer in mind. I hope you will take time to check it out and see what I have been doing in the high country.

I think I rather like the sound of your weather up there, Gary. The high heat of summer just sucks the life out of me. The rest of the year I find myself so much more energized.
The east coast is complaining with the current heat wave, but your post puts it all into perspective for us! I'm not sure how you're dealing with it. I'd be bananas by now if it were me! Painting the world without snow is an interesting concept. I wish you warmth and sunshine soon!
As always, the beauty of your country amazes me - as does your ability to paint, run a gallery and several blogs! Do you have more than 24 hours in your days! (Maybe you do way up there where it's still winter!!!)

We are sweltering here in Canada at the moment... with our usual 80F temps... and high humidity!
"I" love the cold myself... the humidity does "Me" in Pardner! Give "Me" the snowshoe weather any day!!!
Love your newest pieces... they flow seamlessly into your usual stuff!
