Gary,
This is great. Love the way soft sunlight hits the snow at places and the way those beauties are looking everywhere alerted about the unseen danger..

It's been interesting to follow this one from the spark of an idea through to the finished product. Nice work Gary!

this has been some journey from the oosssible combinations of the layout of the deer to this: beautiful and well worth waiting for.

Fantastic composition and very well executed! I love the contrast of the shadowed side of the hill with the sunlit side - very interesting and beautiful painting.

Its been a long time coming. Well done, Gary! I think you captured the message you set out to capture. When I think of all the planning that went into this piece, it blows my mind. Love how you took your idea and developed it to completion.

It must feel great!

I love this piece, the composition, the light, the subjects. I can almost smell the cold in the air, hear the silence as they still to sense their predators...Beautiful, Gary!
