I am not going to get much painting done for a few days as we are in the process of getting the gallery open for the season. Tom and Tammy are back from the Arizona show and are rehanging their gallery wall. Today we rehung Tom's wall and mine. Tomorrow we will begin work on rehanging other artists. We are moving things around a little and building a new Bronze display shelf which will be pretty nice. What with rehanging and some new touch ups it will give the Gallery a fresh look for the season. In spite of snow falling outside and winter storm warnings for tomorrow we even had a few folks in.

Hope it was a great success at the show. Oh what a huge job rehanging them all.

Love the barking pig. LOL. The dogs must have taught him well.

I love the wagon. Looks like a great restoration. would be worth a small fortune now.

Commenting the latest three entries in one, Gary. First of all, those walls in your gallery are just gorgeous colors! They must make every painting look even more beautiful. Love the pig...and the wagon! Glad your son-in-law wanted to finish the restoration. And those bronze horses in the fountains are just phenomenal! I think I like it riderless even better than with the rider!

I hope the gallery has a good season, Gary. With any luck, I will be able to visit it and you before the snow flies again later this year. Will you have a reception marking the opening of the season? If you do, please post pics. Love Rudy!......he almost looks like a pig statue standing next to the wagon like that!

Elizabeth. Yeh it gets pretty exciting right now. A lot of work for all and in this economy-???
Hi Rahina. Thanks. We ned all the luck we can get.
Dors. Yeh. I have been offered a pretty good penny for it but to much sentimental value. That pig learned well. It is a riot when coming in or out or driving up. he just seems so happy to see you.
Sherry. Thanks. We have actually 4 different colors on the walls. The red and 3 values of a salmon like color. We have had a lot of people asking for our colors for application to their houses I guess.
Lynda. Hope you do make it out. We have a cookout in the back of the gallery once a week and invite different people over for it. I have invited whoever shows up from this art blog if in the area and have several folks who just might do that. Clued my pardner in on that yesterday. It would be a hoot if a lot did so. So come on out. We have a reception on the 19th of June this year. Do so every year about that time to kick off the season. Is very well attended. Also have a Christmas reception on Thanksgiving weekend. All these are posted on our Silversage blog accessed from here.
