I have my new deck and cover pretty well finished thanks to my Gallery Pardner, Tom Lucas who is a master carpenter. This was the project that innocently left me to my present demise. Crutches and all. It is sure a great addition to the studio though.

Hi Gary, glad to see you up and around! (Don't fall off the edge of the deck tho'!) Also glad to see some new paintings already - you must be on the mend for sure.

Wow... what a great looking deck and cover!! I kind of like that silhouette of your guys in the first photo...might be a painting op. Give our thanks for Tom for helping our favorite painter out for us too.

thanks Sheila and Deb. Really is gonna be a great hangout deck. Not too worried about falling off. Most dangerous part of my life currently is going up the stairs to my studio. And more so going back down. Actually do it on my butt.

Great deck Gary. Can't see the old rocking chair. LOL. What a great job Tom did. A great spot for painting.

I like the 'old west' look of your deck but then you are living in the 'old west'. :o) It is easy to forget that not all people are used to seeing such construction as we are in Wyoming. :o)

Ah, there you are getting around pretty well it looks like! What a great deck/porch. Love the rustic heavy wood look.

Good to see you are up and about Gary and hopefully you will have a lot of happy hours of painting on your new porch... have you started painting again? r
