The morning light show included some fantastic rainbows at sunrise. This one against the Sawtooth Range of LaBonte Creek.

What a beautiful place you live in. I love the bands of colour in this. I'd be dying to paint it!

Dear Gary, what an incredible life you must lead, such beauty and grace, and how your art reflects both. My very best to you and yours. Wish my whole family could move there.

You have some very striking scenery in your neck of the woods. It's beautiful.

thanks everyone for your comments. I would like to paint it in some way. I have never been really pleased with doing rainbows in a painting. They never seem to capture the true glory of the event and light. I guess most all rainbow paintings I have seen seem so artificial.

This is simply stunning, Gary! ...

I agree with you, rendering rainbows does usually end up seeming artificial. But, if anyone can change that, it will be you :)...
