Having had to work the gallery the last 4 days I have begun this oil painting of Horse Creek from a location north of Dubois. It is 16"x20" and is into the detailing stage.

This is just what I need at the moment - this looks so cool and refreshing. I wish I could jump into the painting.

thanks Katherine and Elizabeth. Glad you enjoy what I am doing. It is a pretty cool area but I have a hard time to get anyone to go into this area with me. Paranoia with bears I guess. My sister and her husbsand from Oregon were here last week and we hiked into the area a little N E from here. Was a great afternoon and I'll have to post it on my outdoor adventure blog within a few days when I get some time.
